DALLAS JUNE 14, 2002 The Texas practice of Chicago-based Perkins & Will, and Dallas-based Collins/Reisenbichler Architects (CRA), announced today the merger of the two industry leaders forming Perkins & Will/CRA. With combined award-winning histories and reputations for exceptional customer service, the merger creates one of the largest healthcare- and education-focused architecture, interior design and planning firms in the nation. More than 85 employees will work from existing offices in Dallas and Houston.
Named principals of the new firm are Tom Reisenbichler, David Collins and Steve Milner, formerly of CRA; along with Doug Demers and Wayne Cage, formerly of Perkins & Will. Phil Callison, Paul Donaldson and Randy Hood, formerly of CRA; and Rick Polvino, formerly of Perkins & Will, were named associate principals.
Tom Reisenbichler will serve as managing principal, and along with David Collins and Doug Demers, will oversee the yearlong integration process.

Perkins & Will and CRA began discussions based on the desires of both companies to expand capabilities and increase market share. Perkins & Will¹s international presence and depth complement CRA¹s established 14-year local presence and mature practice.
