Fire-Lite Introduces ACC-25/50ZS Zone Splitter Voice Evacuation Panel
Significant Technological Enhancements Separate New Panel From Other EVAC Panels
NORTHFORD, Conn.—Fire-Lite Alarms, part of Honeywell’s (NYSE: HON) Fire Group and the leading manufacturer of quality life safety systems, introduces the Audio Command Center Zone Splitter System (ACC-25/50ZS), a state-of-the-art Emergency Voice Evacuation Panel (EVAC) capable of splitting up to 50 watts of audio power to eight zones.
This precise and fully-featured emergency communications system is ideal for schools, auditoriums, dormitories, theaters, restaurants, places of worship, lodging facilities, office buildings, and factories.
The ACC-25/50ZS features several field-programming options, including allowing the user to record five field-programmable messages (up to 60-second total message duration) with an integral commercial grade microphone or from an external audio source.
Other enhancements of this emergency voice evacuation panel include full supervision of both active alarm and standby conditions, as well as amplifier outputs, field wiring, message generation, all tone generators, and a microphone. The ACC 25/50ZS can also support background music.
The ACC-25/50ZS can activate via reverse polarity or contact closure, making it compatible as a stand-alone or as an addition to most UL-listed addressable or conventional fire alarm control panels. It is capable of charging up to 18-amp hour batteries, which can be housed in the panel's cabinet. An optional 25-watt, 25 VRMS audio amplifier is available for system expansion to 50 watts or as a secondary, back-up amplifier in jurisdictions with such requirements.
