Taking green beyond cleaning chemicals
Brought to you by: SCA Tissue North America

What started with cleaning chemicals that are safer for people and the planet has grown into a holistic movement that includes building design, touch-free plumbing fixtures, environmentally friendly manufacturing processes and much more. But sorting green from greenwashing has become increasingly complex. There are an estimated 300-plus environmental labels in the world, including more than 80 used in North America alone. Because the marketplace likes clarity, the evolution of green is starting to stimulate better self-policing and appears headed for a consolidation of certifiers and possibly an increased government role.
