    SilentFX QuickCut noise-reducing gypsum board achieves acoustical control with less product, allowing for thinner wall systems.

    Ideal for projects requiring an STC rating over 50, it sandwiches a viscoelastic polymer between two dense core gypsum boards and can be scored and snapped like conventional drywall. Also available in a fire- and abuse-resistant 5/8-inch Type X board.

    After: Arbor Park Middle School’s computer lab became the new Microsoft Dock Lab thanks to paint, a partial replacement of the floor tile with colored carpet tile and a partial replacement of the ceiling with clear Ceilume ceiling panels. Students can plug their tablets into a bigger screen with a keyboard and mouse or simply sit on the floor and use the tablet by itself.
