Focus Electric features a mile-per-gallon equivalent better than the Chevrolet Volt and other competitive battery electric vehicles, is capable of full recharge in three to four hours, and offers value charging from Microsoft for the cheapest utility rate.

And its suite of smart driver information technologies will transform the way customers think about energy usage and their transportation needs.”
The Focus Electric is slated for a late 2011 launch and is a definitive milestone in zero-emission technology.
