I’m the Farmboy Fine Arts Collection from Hunter Douglas Hospitality, a new series of roller shades printed with fine art. I’m a rule breaker and a trendsetter who loves being the center of attention. That’s why I’m bringing art to the window and changing the way designers think about what can be the focal point in a room.
WHO IN YOUR FAMILY DO YOU MOST RESEMBLE?
You can call me the love child of beautiful art and precise performance. I’m a 50-50 blend of my parents: Hunter Douglas Hospitality Roller Shades and Farmboy Fine Arts custom artwork. Growing up, they always told me, “You can’t replace performance with beauty.” Underneath this artful cover, I’m still strong enough to control the sun, day in and day out. But who said I can’t look good doing it?

I’m made of Hunter Douglas Hospitality’s versatile selection of roller shade fabrics, backed by decades of manufacturing expertise and custom fabrication options. I’ve also got real Farmboy values—working with good people to create good art.
WHAT ONE WORD BEST DESCRIBES YOU?
Fabulous. At least that’s what everyone says when they meet me.
WHAT ARE YOUR BIGGEST TURN-ONS?
I love designers who like breaking boundaries—and a good sense of trends and design never hurt.
TURN-OFFS?
A bad view out the window!
WHAT INSPIRES YOU?
Everything. Art can come from anywhere and be anywhere. That’s what I love about it. Right now I have five collections: The New Romantic, L’Automatiste, The Cubo-Futurist, The Minimalist and The New Realism. Each features a different era and style of art, from expressionist brush strokes to modern abstraction.
HOW DO YOU LESSEN YOUR ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT?

I can only thank the harmonious collaboration between Hunter Douglas Hospitality and Farmboy Fine Arts. The designers became one, big happy family, and put all of their energy into making me as beautiful as possible. They managed to do it in just one year, too. I guess that’s the pace of good inspiration.
