HIGH POINT, N.C.—DARRAN Furniture Industries announces that all DARRAN casegoods and wood conference tables are now BIFMA level 1 Certified.
The level certification reflects DARRAN’s long-standing commitment to implementing programs and ongoing manufacturing research in order to promote sustainable forestry and protect the resources that our businesses and environment depend on for survival.
DARRAN offers customers the ability to choose FSC-certified woods on all casegood and conference products. All DARRAN casegoods and guest seating products are also MAS Certified Green. DARRAN’s MAS and FSC-certified products enable businesses and organizations to earn LEED points for particular projects, and minimize their impact on the environment.
To continue taking steps toward sustainability, DARRAN’s products, organization and facilities were evaluated during the BIFMA level certification process; level is a multi-attribute, sustainability standard and third-party certification program for the furniture industry.
