Vanessa Deleon Associates Launches VDA Virtual Design

Initiative offers access to interior design at your fingertips.

EDGEWATER, NJ--Vanessa DeLeon, designer and Principal of Vanessa DeLeon Associates (VDA) DeLeon is launching a new venture, VDA Virtual Design. The interactive initiative offers design services and solutions to the online marketplace. DeLeon has gathered all the tools and put together a clear and concise digital package for creating customized interiors.

“While VDA is based on the East Coast, we receive phone calls from interested clients all over the country," says DeLeon. "I wanted to come up with a way to offer our services to a larger audience.”

DeLeon’s mission is to offer high fashion design concepts at affordable prices to clients via the worldwide web. “Our world is changing and people want fast, convenient and digital design solutions that they can personally implement,” says DeLeon. "Thanks to content sharing sites such as Houzz and Pinterest, consumers are extremely well educated, tech savvy and immersed in design. “They have a good sense of their style, but still need a professional’s help to pull it all together,” she adds.

VDA Virtual Design allows users to work with the design team and customize their space in six easy steps. To facilitate the process, DeLeon pulled from some of her most recent projects to create a series of lifestyle boards ranging from Mediterranean to modern. Just as she would do in person, she asks the client to think: “Where would you live?”  The next step is a detailed questionnaire, which addresses everything from fabrics and finishes to budget and function. Photography and measurements of the space are required to complete the packet. After a thorough review, DeLeon and her team will provide the client with a virtual presentation board that includes furnishings, flooring, lighting fixtures, wall finishes, accessories and window treatments; a floor plan that shows the location of movable furniture and furnishings and a price worksheet with retail pricing and product links to the manufacturers websites for purchase.

DeLeon will also continue to serve up design ideas and inspiration through various platforms including Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter and YouTube.
