(Burlington, MA) March 30, 2004—Framework Technologies announced today that the Department of Facilities at Princeton University has selected its ActiveAEC™ solution to assist in the management of the university’s $1 billion Capital Improvement Program. Facilities will use ActiveAEC to ensure a consistent process for different project types including new construction, renovation, and major maintenance.
Framework's ActiveAEC synchronizes the entire project team, consisting of Princeton Facilities administrators, internal project and construction managers, participating technical team members, external architects/engineers, contractors, and subcontractors; allowing all team members to work collaboratively; to understand when their participation and/or work is required; and to be constantly aware of issues and changes.
By integrating ActiveAEC with Primavera’s P3E scheduling software, facilities executives and project managers will be able to view key milestones and collaborate on critical decisions necessary to delivering projects on time and budget. Risk management and problem resolution will be facilitated through improved collaboration of the entire project team.
