Green design and sustainability issues are increasing in importance as designers and architects strive to create eco-friendly environments. To showcase products that can satisfy a green agenda, GREENlife will once again be highlighted at NeoCon West, the West Coast conference and exposition for the built environment scheduled for March 25 to 26, 2004, in Los Angeles, CA. NeoCon West will relocate this year to the L.A. Mart, the anchor in the recently designated "Furniture & Decorative Arts District" of downtown Los Angeles.
HOK, one of the country's largest design and architectural practices, will design the intriguing GREENlife space, which will display recycled and sustainably-designed products. The exhibit will combine both sustainable product materials from manufacturers who are leading the way in green design, as well as everyday products that we consume and throw away constantly, such as water bottles, soda cans and
plastic milk cartons. The intent is to present new ways to increase environmental awareness and build a better world.
