Cascading glass and light come together in a dramatic restaurant design at the site of this year’s summer Olympics. French architect Imaad Rahmouni used LEDs and spotlights with hand-blown glass spheres to create a 3-D effect in Beijing’s Klubb Rouge restaurant, donned in red.

In addition to saving nearly $20,000 a year with geothermal heating and cooling, a Champaign, IL, church addition will introduce flat screen televisions to project announcements and video Bible lessons.
