At EnviroGLAS®, the company’s mission is to not only exceed sustainability goals, but to also have an eye toward cost-efficiency and maintenance while having high aesthetic standards. Its new revolutionary terrazzo application, EnviroMODE™, is made from pre-consumer recycled Kohler® toilets, tubs and sinks. EnviroMODE brings the ancient craft of terrazzo into the 21st century by combining a choice of epoxy resin or cementitious binder with crushed, recycled porcelain chips. This technique may be used in flooring or countertop applications and achieves a harder surface than traditional marble terrazzo.
