Madison Avenue Building Gets New Look
A 193,000-square-foot, 25-story office building at 655 Madison Avenue in New York City is undergoing a modernization that is striking in scope, says its architect. New glass-walled elevator cabs and new ceiling-mounted air-conditioning units are among the improvements.
Jerusalem's Ancient Tower of David Comes Alive in New Sound-and-light Show
A "Night Spectacular" uses a colorful series of moving images to turn the massive walls, arches, towers, turrets, and archeological ruins into lifelike depictions of events that took place over the millennia. The production took 20 projectors, 10 video players and servers, and 10 kilometers of cable.
Melding sleek, contemporary interiors and a high-tech suite, a Dallas-area law firm wins the case.
Use BSD SpecLink® for automated construction specifications writing, production, and management. Three tabs are linked for concept to post-construction documents: PerSpective® for early design criteria, Short Form specs for schematic design and design development, and SpecLink’s original data for construction specifications and automatic administrative reports. The new BSD SpecLink includes many LEED features and reports, and there’s also a one-click switch that flips any project from the old 16-division format to MasterFormat™ 2004.
