Polyiso Insulation

Firestone’s family of polyiso insulation products includes ISO 95+ GL Insulation, RESISTA Insulation and ISOGARD HD Cover Board, all featuring a new polyiso formulation. It outperforms the industry standard for polyiso by up to 18 percent, meaning that less of it is required to achieve a target R-value.

Other polyiso boards require an additional 0.25 inches to meet R-25 at 40 degrees F., which adds up to the tune of up to $40,000 in savings on a 500,000-square-foot roof.
