Formaldehyde-free Cavity-SHIELD is an NFPA 13-compliant fiberglass batt insulation for multifamily buildings. The noncombustible insulation bonds resilient glass fibers with thermosetting resin and limits flame spread when installed in interstitial spaces between floors.
Sprinklers are no longer needed in concealed floor spaces, saving installation time and money and eliminating the leak risk. Cuts with a standard utility knife. Available in a range of thicknesses.
