Bill Balek
Director of Environmental Services, ISSA
   

 

Bill Balek is the Director of Environmental Services for ISSA, a non-profit trade association representing the institutional cleaning industry. As such, Bill is actively engaged in the development of public policy, programs and initiatives designed to promote the development and proliferation of green cleaning products and services.

 

Of particular interest, Bill co-chaired the committee that developed the Illinois Guidelines and Specifications for the Green Cleaning for Schools Act and helped to develop Missouri’s green cleaning for schools guidelines. 

 

At the present he is involved in a number of public policy and market based initiatives designed to promote the broad adoption of green cleaning in the marketplace.

 

Bill is an attorney, having received his law degree from IIT-Chicago Kent College of Law and also has an MBA from the DePaul University Kellstadt Graduate School of Business.
