Scott Long
EPDM Product Manager, Carlisle Construction Materials

Scott Long is the EPDM Product Manager for Carlisle Construction Materials, a leading manufacturer of black and white single-ply membranes and Polyisocyanurate/Expanded polystyrene insulations. Serving in this capacity since 2006, he is responsible for the management of the EPDM product line including commercial roofing, geomembrane and specialty applications. In this role, he is also actively involved with the EPDM Roofing Association and currently serves as Chairman of the Technical Committee. He is also a member the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Roofing Consulting Institute (RCI) and the National Roofing Contractor’s Association (NRCA).

 

Since joining Carlisle is 1995, Scott has held positions in Carlisle’s Marketing and Sales groups. From 2000 – 2006, he served as Regional Manager for the Atlantic East Region with sales responsibility for PA, NJ, DE, MD and VA. In this role, he worked with rep and distributor organizations to develop and implement territory development programs that support Carlisle SynTec’s corporate strategies for growth. Training, sales, marketing and promotional initiatives are among those managed in the field.

 

Scott was previously Manager of Specialty Products serving the specialty adhesives, modular construction, RV and pond lining industries with product development, promotion and technical support for a national network of reps and distributors.
