Mr. Nico Johnson is Business Manager, Latin America, for Trina Solar (TSL), an industry leader in solar module manufacturing. Trina Solar's products provide reliable and environmentally-friendly electric power for a growing variety of end-user applications worldwide. His responsibilities cover all aspects of territory strategy, planning, sales and execution for the region. Prior to his current role, Mr. Johnson was responsible for all field marketing activities for the Americas region. He leverages nearly 7 years of solar project development and product sales experience to aid clients in accurately assessing product requirements and appropriately positioning Trina products for success. Prior to joining Trina Solar, Mr. Johnson served as a National Sales Manager for Lumeta Solar, as well as Senior Solar Project Developer for DRI Energy, developing and managing multiple-MW projects. Prior to DRI Energy, he co-founded Blueline Power, a residential and light commercial solar power integrator. Mr. Johnson holds an International MBA from the Monterey Institute of International Studies, and is fluent in Spanish.
