Identifying hidden energy waste may require a deployment of new devices. Your utility bill is a great indication of energy consumption, but data loggers and submeters are needed to illustrate energy usage on a specific system and equipment basis. The data-driven decisions and projects resulting from a deployment can improve occupant comfort, reduce maintenance, minimize capital resources, and – of course – slash energy.

Learning Objectives
  • Identify best practices for deploying types of data loggers.
  • Know how to analyze the data correctly to make informed, data-driven decisions.
  • Learn the benefits of data gathering, such as reduced maintenance, minimized capital investments, improved occupant comfort, and decreased energy usage.
  • Discover case studies of similar deployments and apply them to your situation to effectively implement these strategies at your facility.
