These awards honor top government and industry leaders, programs and organizations from the security, law enforcement and emergency preparedness & response fields.
Profiles in Innovation Awards recipients will be recognized for demonstrating outstanding approaches and technical innovations in their disciplines. Award categories include:

The winner of the 2003 Chairman’s Award was William Pelgrin, Director, New York State Office of Cyber Security & Critical Infrastructure Coordination.
All Profiles in Innovation Awards will be presented at a joint session of GOVSEC—The Government Security Expo and Conference, the U.S. Law Enforcement Conference and Exposition (U.S. LAW), and READY! The Emergency Preparedness and Response Conference and Exposition. These three conferences are co-located at the Washington Convention Center, Washington, D.C., July 28-29, 2004.
