The Federal Energy Management Program has issued a 2-page fact sheet

The Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy office of the U.S. Department of Energy has issued a two-page fact sheet for Federal Resource Efficiency Managers (REMs). As part of Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP) initiatives, the release of this information coincides with the program’s goal to save energy and taxpayer dollars in federal facilities.

The fact sheet provides helpful information and resources on buying energy-efficient products, and encourages REMs to visit (www.eere.energy.gov/femp/technologies/eeproducts.cfm) for recommendations on everything from office fax machines to water-cooled chillers and industrial luminaires. Also shared are the benefits of using FEMP analytical tools such as Energy Cost Calculators and Building Life-Cycle Cost software.
