June 13, 2008

Tim Fixmer(Cedar Rapids, Iowa) – Tim Fixmer, president of Stamats Business Media, announces today that operations are functional for Buildings, Interiors & Sources, ARCHI-TECH, and Meetings Media clients, despite the extensive flood damage to the corporate office located in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

“Our employees have rallied with dedication, enthusiasm, and loyalty to secure a working environment needed to meet all commitments to our clients in this disaster situation,” said Fixmer. “With our clients in the forefront of our minds and efforts, we have a disaster recovery plan already in place. Our employees are working hard to service the needs of our clients, while tending to the challenges faced by the community.”

As featured in the national media, Cedar Rapids, Iowa has experienced historic, record-breaking flood damage. Stamats Business Media corporate office is located at the heart of the downtown area, which is one of the most hard-hit areas. All Stamats Business Media e-mail and computer systems have been relocated to a secure facility about two hours from Cedar Rapids. All e-media properties are operational and print products will be produced on time. The main office phone lines have been rerouted to the Stamats San Francisco office and sales and support teams are operating with cell phones as usual.

“We are very proud of the fine work the Stamats team has accomplished in the face of this tragedy. The result of their efforts is our ability to conduct ‘business as usual’ from a customer perspective,” said Fixmer.
