Dynegy Names Michael Flinn President, Dynegy Europe

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2002--Dynegy Inc. (NYSE:DYN) today announced that Michael E. Flinn, previously senior vice president of marketing and origination for the Wholesale Energy Network division, has been named president of Dynegy Europe Limited, the company's European business unit.

In 1999, Dynegy Europe entered the UK and NordPool electricity markets. With offices in Switzerland, Holland, Italy and Spain, Dynegy Europe is one of Europe's largest energy marketers and traders and is a significant participant in the communications marketplace.
