(NYSE: EME), the world's leading provider of planning, consulting, mechanical and electrical construction and facilities services, has selected BuildPoint to market EMCOR's 65 operating companies to general contractors. EMCOR and BuildPoint will work together to create and manage EMCOR company profiles for electronic distribution to general contractors. Profiles with basic information, including key contacts, regions served, and area of specialization, will be viewable in BuildPoint's Public Directory, open to all members of the construction community. In addition, more comprehensive profiles, including industry standard pre-qualification data and project profile sheets for each of EMCOR's companies, will be accessible to general contractors using BuildPoint's PRM 2 application. BuildPoint's customers, who include more than 50 ENR Top 400 general contractors, use PRM 2 for project bidding, pre-qualifying subcontractors, tracking subcontractor performance, and managing subcontractor information.
