Tandus Flooring has added two designs – Tableau and Arboretum – to the Urban Nature Collection, which racked up accolades including the 2010 Bestof NeoCon Gold in Resilient. The patterns are rooted in historic Japanese art and architecture that interpret the emotions and cultural nuances of Japan’s rural countryside – from cherry blossoms and tea houses to bamboo forests, lily ponds and terraced rice fields.
Tableau and Arboretum bring the collection to five selections that coordinate across scale, free-form figures and geometry to allow multiple space considerations and smooth, intuitive transitions. The uninterrupted imagery opens design parameters, expands the floor plane and facilitates imaginative motifs
