YK Centrifugal Chillers

The YORK model YK centrifugal chillers offer a refrigerant-charge reduction of up to 40%. The use of falling-film technology improves the efficiency of chiller evaporators by spraying refrigerant over the tubes instead of covering them in a refrigerant bath. Because of the efficiency improvement, less refrigerant is needed. YK chillers also provide sustainability benefits by using refrigerant HFC-134a, which has zero ozone-depletion potential.
