StressPly E High-Tensile Modified Bitumen Membrane
StressPly E, a puncture- and fatigue-resistant roofing membrane, combines waterproofing and reinforcement with environmental responsibility.
It contains up to 39% recycled content, including post-consumer scrap from recycled tires in the compound, recycled boiler slag as surfacing, crushed porcelain as filler, glass bottles as a parting agent, and several rapidly renewable resources in place of petroleum in the compound. The fire retardant added to the compound during manufacturing enables the product to maintain its fire rating through its entire lifecycle.
The membrane can be hot or cold applied and are designed for use as the top component in built-up roofing. It can also be used to boost durability in a two-ply flashing system or for repairs in an existing asphalt roofing system.
