Solar Flare and Solar Flex

Metal Sales’ photovoltaic (PV) panel program includes Solar Flare (crystalline panels) and Solar Flex (thin film panels) that complement metal roofing’s already low maintenance and energy efficiency.

The PV panels attach to metal panel ribs with a multipurpose clip, eliminating the need to penetrate the roof while attaching the panels. This reduces labor during installation and repair and greatly reduces the chance that the solar roof would leak or accrue damage in spots that would otherwise be weakened by penetrating fasteners.

Both Solar Flare and Solar Flex are energy-efficient and suitable for new or existing roofs. The two products are also eligible for ENERGY STAR federal tax credits.
