The Elevator Hoistway Door Reel Closer

SmarTork’s Elevator Hoistway Door Reel Closer overcomes wind velocities and air pressurization build-up in elevator shafts with its helical groove design.

Its tension provides increased force in the final 2 inches of closing, which results in a longer lifespan and reduced service calls. Field tests show the closer can bring about power savings due to a reduction in peak amp loads. It is ideal for new installations or replacements.
