Vertically oriented louver blades provide better storm resistance, but architects tend to prefer the continuous sight lines of horizontal blades. This system delivers the necessary storm resistance with the desired aesthetic in one louver. This combination resists wind-driven rain and winds as high as 50 miles per hour, which can drive as much as 8 inches of water per hour.
Choose from two options; the RS-5215 for lower-level applications, which has horizontal blades facing in a downward direction that obscure the vertical blades behind, or the RS-5225 for higher-level applications, which has horizontal blades facing upward and vertical blades behind. Both have a 5-inch depth. The RS-5215 has 51.6% free area, while the RS-5225 has 50% free area.
