The Architectural Icon 8 and Icon 10 are quiet, high-performance air curtains that protect open doorways in hotels, retail, restaurants, healthcare and other applications where thermal comfort, aesthetics and energy savings are important. The two models are redesigns of Berner’s Architectural Low Profile 8 and Architectural High Performance 10 air curtains; the redesign emphasizes quieter operation, aesthetic upgrades and AMCA-certified performance.
Both models feature a PSC motor that combines with other air movement components and a refreshed cabinet design to deliver low operating sound and harmonic dB; EC motors are optional and equally quiet. The curtains conserve energy when the door is open. The Architectural Icon 8 is available in lengths of 3 to 10 feet, while the Icon 10 is available in lengths of 3 to 12 feet. The standard cabinet is clear satin anodized aluminum, but stainless steel and powder coats in dozens of colors are also available.
