FEMA-Compliant Window System by Insulgard

08/05/2010 |

A new window system by Insulgard protects against hurricane- and tornado-strength winds as well as ballistic impacts, meeting FEMA 361-2008 requirements for debris impact resistance. The windows combine Insulgard TH600 aluminum framing, TOR-GARD glass glazing, and SABIC’s Lexan sheet. The architectural security system, tested to withstand 200+ mph winds and high-speed debris, is intended for police and hospital emergency facilities as well as important government infrastructure.
