Looking at 100 Years … and Beyond

09/29/2005 |

When I joined the editorial staff of Buildings magazine more than 20 years ago, I never thought I’d still be working with an industry I love when the publication celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2006.

But here I am - still delighted and intrigued by this dynamic marketplace - and about to embark, with my talented colleagues, on a remarkable year of past, present, and future perspectives in all of our Buildings brands: in print, online, and in person.

While we research present-day and forward-looking processes, projects, and products from readers, consultants, suppliers, and others to provide information to help subscribers in their roles as facilities decision-makers, we would love to receive your anecdotal comments, advice, and remembrances of the commercial and institutional buildings industry to share with your peers. We’re fortunate to have all 100 years of Buildings issues at our fingertips - a pretty amazing retrospective in and of itself - but there’s so much more out there. Please help us!

Offer your comments - via e-mail (linda.monroe@buildings.com), fax (319) 364-4278, or phone (319) 364-6167. Don’t forget to include your contact information, including your years as a Buildings reader.

This ever-changing industry retains its vitality due to you. Be a part of this significant 2006 milestone - all year long.
