This course is designed to provide introductory information about the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA). Participants will learn how and why OSHA was created, and it’s current mission and requirements. The course reviews the responsibilities of employers and what a safe workplace looks like, through a framework of OSHA standards. OSHA enforcement will also be discussed, including the inspection process and applicable penalties. The course concludes with a look at additional resources and support for implementing your OSHA safety program at your company, or knowing your rights as an employee.
