Rotted Wood Nailers

Make sure all components that need to be replaced are replaced. During this roof replacement project, new wood nailers were installed on top of rotted wood nailers at the perimeter roof edge. Neglecting to replace the rotted wood nailers increased the risk of potential roof damage from wind. Properly secured new wood nailers are a low-cost solution that can help ensure your roof's long life.
