Beyond the above, RhinoBond spreads the wind load evenly across the roof deck, thereby providing better wind ratings with fewer fasteners. Owners get a higher performing roof. The hand welder allows roofers to use RhinoBond under raised equipment and on parapet walls, or on 100 percent of the roof.
RhinoBond is an induction based process for installing thermoplastic roofing materials (i.e. PVC and TPO). The system uses one fastener and one plate to secure both the insulation and the membrane, thereby eliminating up to 50 percent of the fasteners vs. a traditional mechanically attached project.
In addition to material savings, the system eliminates up to 30 percent of field seaming, and does not penetrate the new membrane.
Waterproofing seams and flashing areas typically require as many as six steps. OneFlash is a single-application product that reduces labor time to one-third the time traditional products require.
