The Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Building Consulting Services Intl. (BISCI) have recently signed an agreement to work together on several activities to promote further growth and development in the telecommunications industries. Under the agreement, the two organizations will facilitate interaction between their members to promote a more skilled and qualified work force, while considering regulatory issues of mutual importance, and furthering the development of worldwide telecommunications. They will also participate in each other’s telecommunications exhibitions and seminars; exchange newsletters and other information about mutual concerns; and consult on, discuss, and pursue other cooperative activities as may be necessary and appropriate.
“Telecommunications systems have become an increasingly important component of today’s commercial and institutional buildings, connecting the world like never before,” said CSI President Gilman K. M. Hu. “We look forward to cooperating with BICSI on advancing the telecommunications industries and working together on mutual interests.”
