Hitachi’s new mini-split systems feature vector DC inverters to achieve maximum energy efficiency. They cool with maximum capacity at start-up, then slow down and operate at minimum capacity to maintain room temperature, reducing consumption by up to 62% compared to non-inverter levels.
An intelligent sensor system responds to the environment to provide continuous comfort, while the unit’s FrostWash technology eliminates dust, bacteria and mold to keep air fresh and clean. Single zone systems are available in 115V or 208/230V with capacities of 0.75 to 3 tons. Multi-zone systems accommodate up to 5 zones with 208/230V and capacities from 1.5 to 3.5 tons.
