Detroit, Michigan - Artificial Sky, a Detroit-based service disabled veteran owned small business and manufacturer of illuminated sky ceilings, acoustic tile ceiling art and panoramic wall murals unveils its new product line-up with the state-of-the-art LED Virtual Sky today. According to Mark Jenzen, the owner of Artificial Sky, "This will revolutionize ceiling art in the 21st century due to the fact we engineered our panels to fit any standard 2’x2' or 2'x4' suspended ceiling grid on Earth. The onset of LED technology makes it possible to now create a digital, life-like sky up to 50,000 square feet in size with moving cloud effects indoors. Gazing up at a blue sky and passing clouds is definitely not something you can do outdoors on a daily basis. However, with our latest product it is possible to create the soothing and relaxing feeling brought by the beauty of the sky even during bad weather and evenings."

The company makes use of the biophilia hypothesis where it suggests that there is a distinctive bond between human beings and other living things. Furthermore, it is most easily defined as 'the love of nature'. A person reacts positively to distinct places, things, animals and natural surroundings like green trees, mountains, birds and a blue sky to name a few. In fact, many medical facilities have incorporated products from Artificial Sky to help patients recover faster. In addition to this, academic institutions have started integrating murals and ceilings with a touch of nature to encourage and make classrooms more conducive to learning. A lot of business establishments began to realize the benefits and use this art to make their employees more productive and in the retail setting, entice their customers to stay there longer.

"Apart from our latest Virtual Sky product, our normal ceiling art designs and wall murals are available and never cease to make any hospitals, airport, lobby, waiting room, dental office, health care and maternity clinic a more soothing and relaxing place to stay in. This will surely relieve any person's anxiety, pressure, and short tempered outburst. Hence, it lowers blood pressure, decreases muscle tension, reduces pain and re- directs negative thoughts." adds Jenzen.
