• Super Vision places OEM order with Lighting Science Group

    Lighting Science Group will supply LED lighting products to be sold under Super Vision's SaVi LED brand.

    Lighting Science Group Corp and Super Vision International Inc have a commenced a strategic OEM relationship. Also, Super Vision has placed an initial order for LSG's suite of LED lighting products to be sold under Super Vision's new SaVi™ LED brand.

    The initial purchase order will provide Super Vision's national sales force with SaVi LED product samples featuring LSG's patented LED lights to be marketed and sold though Super Vision's sales pipeline. Super Vision sells systems and controls primarily to the commercial, architectural, signage, swimming pool and retail lighting industries.

    "This initial sales order is a major step towards establishing and developing a large group of OEM partnerships for the sales and distribution of LSG's LED lighting products," said Ron Lusk, chairman and CEO of Lighting Science.

    "We have developed an industry-leading portfolio of LED lights based on a strong product portfolio, that Super Vision and other players in the LED lighting industry are beginning to recognize for its superior qualities."

    Super Vision describes SaVi LED as a new comprehensive line of energy efficient, high output, white light LED products the company will be introducing to the commercial lighting market in January.

    Mike Bauer, Super Vision's president and CEO said "After spending significant time researching other white LED lighting products in the market, we found LSG's technology and OEM capabilities to be superior to the competition."

    "This initial purchase, and the marketing plan behind our SaVi(TM)LED line, will enable our sales team to quickly penetrate the market with one of the broadest platforms of LED light sources & fixtures in this emerging industry.," continued Bauer.
