Ruskin’s CD450 and CD450V control dampers are extruded aluminum models that create a “light-tight” sealing effect that ensures improved energy efficiency in buildings.
The CD450 has a horizontal blade orientation, while the CD450V model (pictured) has a vertical blade orientation. Both help regulate air movement in medium- to high-velocity and pressure HVAC systems and are ideal for any HVAC application that requires efficient performance. The mechanically fastened blade seals on the airfoil blades offer low pressure drop and less noise when open and achieve Class 1A leakage performance when closed.
