PACE program to drive building improvements.

A new program for property owners in Los Angeles has been approved by the City Council and will provide financing for efficiency and safety facility retrofits. The AllianceNRG program, which is one of Mayor Eric Garcetti’s resiliency and sustainability initiatives, will provide financing for 100% of associated project costs for seismic retrofits, energy efficiency improvements, renewable energy installations, electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, and water conservation measures.

The program will be entirely voluntary and available to property owners in counties and municipalities that are members of the California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA) and also have opted in to its Open PACE program. Learn more about the program and how to sign up here.

“With this lending tool, property owners will have access to financing for energy efficiency, water conservation, renewable energy, and seismic retrofits that will help spur economic growth while increasing the long-term resiliency of the City’s building stock,” says Mayor Garcetti.
