SnowBreaker by SnoBlox-Snojax

Sept. 12, 2011
Slices ice and snow into smaller, safer pieces.

SnowBreaker, a polycarbonate snow guard that cuts ice and snow into smaller pieces so it can safely come off a roof, can be mounted above doors, walkways, or other high-traffic areas where chunks of falling snow and ice could be dangerous for pedestrians.

The product features a forward cutting edge and tucked-back rear support that combine to form a pointed, triangular shape that acts like a fin to slice through the frozen mass as it starts to melt.

SnowBreaker can be mechanically fastened or adhesive mounted. A peel-and-stick version is available for year-round application if temperatures of 50 degrees F. are not available for 30 days to properly cure adhesives.
