UltraWhite Granulated Modified Bitumen Cap Sheets by Firestone Building Products

Aug. 1, 2011
Granules enhance light reflectivity and heat emissivity to cut buildings' energy needs.

UltraWhite’s granules are applied during the manufacturing process, eliminating the need to spend more on labor to apply them in the field. The product requires no liquid coatings and does not have metal or plastic film added to the surface.

Resistant to foot traffic and hail, UltraWhite can be applied with hot asphalt, heat welding, or cold adhesive and is compatible with steel, concrete, plywood, and wood decks.

The roofing granules on these cap sheets provide a cool roofing solution that can help achieve points toward LEED certification.
