Water-efficient, vitreous china wash-down retrofit urinals

Upgrade to more water-efficient flushing while minimizing the effort of replacing existing urinals with Sloan Valve Company’s new vitreous china wash-down retrofit urinals.

The new retrofit urinals are available in three water-efficient models—1/8 gpf, 1/4 gpf and 1/2 gpf—which can be matched with various Sloan sensor-activated or manual flushometers. The footprint of the wash-down retrofit urinals has been enlarged to help hide original fixture caulk lines and damage from older fixtures. Additionally, the rim-to-outlet dimensions have been optimized to eliminate the need to change the rough-in of the drain in order to maintain the correct height in most cases.

These urinals are WaterSense compliant, as well as among the first plumbing products to be certified under the new IAPMO R&T Inc. Green Certification program, which identifies and tests products that are water-efficient based on water use reduction when compared to the water use baseline indicated in each specification.
