Energy-Efficient Office Practices

In AIA 2030 Commitment; Measuring Industry Progress Toward 2030; First Annual Report, May 2011, AIA found architecture firms are working towards using less energy in the office. Firms are implementing simple strategies, like encouraging employees to conserve by shutting off the lights in unoccupied rooms, as well as more sophisticated changes, like upgrading equipment and applying energy-efficient lighting solutions.
