With the look of clear glass, SunDefense provides a high percentage of visible light transmission (65%) while minimizing solar heat gain (28%) for a light-to-solar gain ratio, or LSG, of 2.3. In addition, the glass reduces undesirable ultraviolet light transmission to 5% and provides excellent insulating properties (U-factor of 0.25).
