SkyScape Vegetative Roof System by Firestone

April 11, 2011
Double interlocking trays insulate roof while growing a layer of protection.

Easy-to-install double interlocking trays create a vegetative roof with proper air flow, allowing improved stormwater management, reduced heat island effect, and enhanced air quality.

SkyScape is available in modular tray or multi-layered systems and is designed to promote healthy plant growth with a protective root barrier, drainage and filtration layers, and other features. It can accommodate an irrigation system if necessary.

Use a draught-tolerant, fire-safe, non-invasive mix of flowering, local, and native plants for best results. Plants can be installed from pre-planted trays, vegetative plugs, or sedum tile mats.
