The E-Plex 5800 series is a GSA-approved stand-alone access control system that meets FIPS 201 smart card requirements (PIV, PIV-I, TWIC, CAC, FRAC, etc.).
The CoreStreet-enabled E-Plex 5800 series incorporates a range of options and features to accommodate a wide variety of customer preferences and applications. The system can be as simple as enrolling FIPS 201 cards right at the reader without requiring any software.
It can also use software to check card validation against the Federal Bridge PKI (public key infrastructure), import photos, set access schedules, or retrieve audit trails.
