Underfloor Air Distribution System by Tate Access Floors

Dec. 30, 2010

With Tate’s underfloor service distribution, the absence of overhead HVAC supply ducts frees 6-12 inches of interior space. The additional room allows for increased daylighting opportunities with taller window options. Running wiring and cabling under the floor affords flexibility and reconfiguration capability. Underfloor air distribution provides improved IAQ, enhanced comfort control, and significant energy savings. Floor-mounted diffusers cool only the occupied zone and operate at much lower static pressures and warmer temperatures compared to a traditional ducted system.
